Garden Sharing is an Uber like alternative to traditional camping: camping in private outdoor spaces such as gardens, agri-camping sites, and also glamping accommodations.

It is a portal dedicated to those who love tourism in freedom, to travel with campers, caravans or even just with a backpack and a tent, to sleep in a safe place, surrounded by nature. It smartly connects travellers with hosts.

The Garden Sharers are the hosts and owners of private spaces who choose to make them available to travellers, by posting them on the portal, with photos, descriptions, services provided, and prices.

Our strategic work plan

We had to improve the existing main functionalities and add new ones. The app would allow people to seamlessly host travellers seeking for outdoor spaces, through a simple sign up and registration process for both parties.

Hosts can create ad campaigns to start receiving booking requests from campers and tourists.

An intuitive UI/UX layout help make it simple for anyone to exchange information, manage bookings, confirmations, follow-ups and payments.

Initially we evaluated the existing platform and made a thorough audit of the system. We had to start with the bug fixing to then proceeded with architecture suggestions and ameliorations. We worked both on the front and backend environments, while utilizing our DevOps expertise to ensure a reliable and scalable user flow. We integrated payment gateways to orchestrate enhanced transactional processes.

Our Sendgrid and active campaign integrations allowed Garden Sharing to successfully add more users reaching the total of 50.000 campers and hosts only in Italy. This enabled +216% new unique transactions in just one year.
